The PH 5 Pendant was designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in 1958. It was specifically designed for hanging low over tables. Like many of Poul Henningsen's pendant lights it was designed using a multi shade system in order to ensure no glare. The PH5 consists of 3 reflecting shades that illuminate the lamp downwards and laterally creating 100% glare free light.
